Aim and Benefits of BI Norwegian Business School Masters Scholarship

  • Full tuition fees for up to two years if the student maintains the academic progression requirements for scholarship recipients.

Requirements for BI Norwegian Business School Masters Scholarship Qualification

  • Candidates with international citizenship who are not residents of Norway who have a strong academic record.
  • Candidates must have a minimum overall GPA of 4.0 on the ECTS scale to be considered. Applicants with international education will have their grades converted to the ECTS scale by BI Norwegian Business School.
  • Candidates must be admitted to a Master of Science degree programme at campus Bergen.
  • Eligible applicants who apply for the BI Presidential Scholarship will also be considered for the MSc International Scholarship.
  • Only candidates seeking their first master’s degree are considered for Master of Science scholarships.
  • Candidates with international citizenship who have completed a bachelor’s degree in Norway are considered as domestic applicants for scholarship purposes and are, therefore, not eligible for this scholarship.

Interview date, Process and Venue for BI Norwegian Business School Masters Scholarship

  • All candidates will be assessed according to the ECTS scale. Applicants with international bachelor’s degrees will have their grades converted to the ECTS scale.
  • Other factors that may influence awarding could be other academic achievements, GMAT/GRE/CAT scores, extracurricular achievements, and special personal achievements.

How to Apply

  • Applications for scholarship are not accepted by email. 
  • Always apply for a scholarship at the same time as you apply for admission on the online application portal.
  • Upload your CV/resume and a scholarship application letter. The scholarship application letter should outline why you should be considered for this scholarship (maximum one-page). Combine the documents into one PDF file. NOTE: Scholarships are awarded based on excellent academic grades, not on financial need.
  • Upload it to the section marked ‘Scholarship’ in your online application for admission.
  • Include all the required documentation to be evaluated for admission to a Master of Science programme. The scholarship application will only be considered if a complete application for admission has been submitted and the offer of admission is accepted.
  • Only the scholarship application and the documentation submitted at the time of application for admission are considered. No additional documentation is accepted once the application is submitted.
  • International applicants who apply for the BI Presidential Scholarship will also be considered for the MSc International Scholarship. A separate scholarship application letter is not required.
