The airline’s mission is to provide unsurpassed, safe, and reliable air transport services while strategically linking Rwanda with the outside world and ensuring a fair return on investment.
As part of its expansion strategy, RwandAir is seeking qualified, experienced, and dynamic professionals to fill the following six positions:
1. Manager Accounts Payable at RwandAir Ltd
Duty Station: Kigali International Airport
Reports to: Head of Financial Planning and Analysis
Department: Finance
Key Responsibilities:
-
Lead and manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function.
-
Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax laws, and regulatory standards.
-
Strengthen vendor relations and optimize payment cycles.
-
Support cash flow management and ERP automation initiatives.
-
Supervise and train the AP team to achieve high performance.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master’s is an advantage).
-
CPA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent certification.
-
Minimum 8 years of experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
-
Airline industry experience preferred.

2. Director Finance Business Partner at RwandAir Ltd
Duty Station: Kigali International Airport
Reports to: Chief Finance Officer
Key Responsibilities:

Act as a strategic advisor to the Executive Team.
-
Lead financial strategy, business transformation, and resource allocation.
-
Oversee budgeting, investment prioritization, and performance reporting.
-
Drive commercial finance initiatives for profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
-
CMA/ACCA/CIMA certification preferred.
-
10+ years of progressive experience, including 3+ years in management.
-
Airline or commercial finance experience desirable.

3. Quality Manager, Flight Operations at RwandAir Ltd
Department: Compliance & Risk
Duty Station: Kigali International Airport
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the Flight Operations audit and compliance program.

Conduct audits, implement corrective actions, and ensure regulatory adherence.
-
Develop and monitor quality KPIs for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Engineering, or Quality Management.
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in flight operations; 2 years in a quality role.
-
In-depth understanding of aviation regulations and standards.

4. Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting and Assurance at RwandAir Ltd
Duty Station: Kigali International Airport
Reports to: Head of Revenue Management Accounting
Key Responsibilities:

Lead revenue accounting, reconciliation, and assurance across business units.

Prevent revenue leakage and ensure compliance with IFRS and IATA standards.

Supervise revenue audits and monthly reporting.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s/CPA/ACCA an asset).

8–10 years’ experience, 3 in managerial roles.
-
Airline industry background highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead financial process automation and modernization projects.

Ensure IAS/IFRS compliance in reporting.
Qualifications:

CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.

Proven experience in finance transformation or automation projects.

Airline or transportation sector experience preferred.

5+ years of experience in document control, quality, or compliance roles.

Aviation experience preferred.
