Central University Hospital of Kigali (CHUK) is seeking a qualified and experienced Nutritionist (A0) to support the hospital’s clinical nutrition services and promote quality healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop and implement nutrition programs
-
Work with doctors and other healthcare professionals to coordinate medical and nutritional needs
-
Provide patients with evidence-based dietary care and counseling
-
Conduct nutritional education for inpatients and outpatients
-
Develop nutrition care plans and manage a clinical caseload
-
Participate in quality improvement projects, research, and audits
-
Ensure compliance with hospital dietetic standards and guidelines
-
Design special dietary plans for assigned patients
-
Supervise hospital food service and dietetic kitchen operations
-
Train and mentor student dieticians as per departmental practices
-
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to the supervisor
-
Perform other related duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, Human Nutrition, Nutritional Science, or Public Health
-
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Valid License to Practice issued by a professional council in Rwanda
