Central University Hospital of Kigali (CHUK) is looking for a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to ensure effective management of pharmaceutical services and contribute to the hospital’s healthcare delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure medicines are prepared and distributed in accordance with hospital policies
-
Participate in the development and implementation of pharmaceutical procedures
-
Train pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals
-
Represent the pharmacy department in hospital committees when required
-
Develop technical specifications for pharmaceutical tenders
-
Strictly adhere to hospital policies on pharmaceutical management and restrictions
-
Participate in continuous professional education and quality improvement programs
-
Evaluate technical bids and assist with importation documentation for medicines
-
Quantify pharmaceutical needs and follow up on supply orders
-
Supervise stock management of medical and surgical consumables
-
Contribute to environmental hygiene and infection prevention initiatives
-
Submit reports and perform other related duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
-
At least 3 years of relevant experience
-
Valid License to Practice issued by a recognized professional council in Rwanda
