Job Responsibilities

Implement the District’s agriculture strategy and programs in line with national policies and strategies.

Enforce national measures for natural resource protection and report any violations to competent authorities.

Provide technical advice, organize training sessions, and conduct public awareness campaigns on agricultural practices.

Disseminate new agricultural technologies among farmers and other beneficiaries.
-
Identify, map, and monitor crop diseases within the sector and advise on preventive and control measures.
-
Inspect and ensure that mining operators comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:

Agriculture and Food Processing

Agriculture Economics

Agriculture

Agriculture Mechanization
-
Agriculture Engineering
-
Agriculture Economics and Extension
Experience: No prior experience required (0 years).
