JOB DESCRIPTION: PORTER

Front Office Manager
Job Purpose
To meet, greet, and offer assistance to all guests arriving at the hotel, ensuring an unforgettable first and last impression. The Porter will work as part of a team to provide excellent guest service with attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities

Welcome all guests in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.

Assist guests with luggage during check-in and check-out.

Escort guests to rooms, explaining room features and hotel facilities.

Maintain full knowledge of hotel services, room layouts, and daily activities.

Ensure the reception and entrance areas are clean and well-organized.

Handle guests’ requests and complaints promptly and professionally.

Demonstrate knowledge of local tourist destinations and activities.

Promote environmental and social responsibility through the “Planet 21” principles.

Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Maintain high personal grooming standards and adhere to company uniform policies.

Attend relevant meetings and participate in staff training sessions.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
-
At least 1 year of experience as a Porter or in a similar hospitality role.
-
A1 in Hospitality Management or a high school diploma with proven experience.
-
Good organizational and time management skills.
-
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
-
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
-
