Job Vacancy Announcement – DP World Logistics Rwanda
DP World Logistics Rwanda is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced Mechanics to join its team.
Key Responsibilities
-
Diagnose, service, and repair forklifts (mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems).
-
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in line with manufacturer standards.
-
Troubleshoot and fix breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
-
Maintain accurate service and repair records; prepare technical reports.
-
Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure proper usage of tools and equipment.
-
Conduct inspections, overhauls, and enforce safety standards at the station.
-
Provide technical recommendations on equipment condition, repairs, and replacement needs.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
-
Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in forklift repair and maintenance (diesel, gas & electric).
-
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical diagnostics.
-
Ability to work independently.
-
Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Problem-solving mindset with quick decision-making under pressure.

Good communication and reporting skills (liaising with head office).

Ability to manage spare parts and workshop resources efficiently.
