DUHAMIC-ADRI is a national non-governmental organization operating in Rwanda since 1985, focusing on economic empowerment, job creation, conservation agriculture, environmental protection, social behavior change, emergency response, and capacity building for vulnerable populations.
Since October 2023, DUHAMIC-ADRI has been implementing the Shora Neza Project in partnership with WFP with funding from the Mastercard Foundation. This project operates in 8 districts of the Southern Province and 7 districts of the Western Province to create and strengthen youth employment opportunities through efficient and inclusive agricultural value chains.
To achieve this goal, DUHAMIC-ADRI seeks to recruit Five (5) Agribusiness Coaches (3 for Western Province and 2 for Southern Province).

Monthly Net Salary: 630,000 RWF

Start Date: October 2025
Key Responsibilities
-
Facilitate the development and implementation of Farmer Service Centers (FSCs) activities.
-
Support profiling and due diligence for potential young women-led FSCs.
-
Develop incubation programs for youth, including refugees and persons with disabilities, using training, peer-learning, and digital tools.

Monitor performance of FSCs and youth farmers, tracking their growth and business results.

Promote Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and support youth to engage in profitable agribusiness.

Ensure proper use of FSC starter kits and facilitate youth participation in agri-shows and exhibitions.

Organize coaching, mentorship, and peer learning among FSCs, and document success stories and reports.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agronomy, Agriculture Economics, Animal Production, Crop Science, Economics, or Project Management.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in coaching and mentorship of agribusiness enterprises for smallholder farmers.

Proven experience in market and financial linkages, capacity building, and working with youth/women in agribusiness.

Strong communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda.

Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Familiarity with digital tools for data collection and reporting.

Willingness to travel frequently to rural sites.
-
Motorcycle driving license (Class A) is an advantage.

Age not exceeding 40 years.
