About the Scholarship
The Science & Technology Undergraduate Scholarship is offered by the Singapore Management University (SMU) to support outstanding students from various Asian countries and regions.

Aim and Benefits

Full tuition coverage (after MOE Tuition Grant ā recipients must accept the grant)

S$6,000 annual living allowance

S$1,750 one-time computer allowance upon enrolment

S$200 one-time settling-in allowance upon enrolment

Annual accommodation allowance equivalent to the lowest double room rate for on-campus housing

Travel allowance covering incoming passage to Singapore and return passage after course completion (subject to proof of employment)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be full-time first-year undergraduate students at SMU in any of the following programmes:
-
Bachelor of Science (Information Systems)
-
Bachelor of Science (Computer Science)
-
Bachelor of Science (Software Engineering)
-
-
Be a citizen of India, China (PRC), Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan
-
Possess excellent high school academic results
-
Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and potential

Have a record of co-curricular and/or community service involvement
Additional Information

Bond: 6-year bond with a Singapore-registered company after graduation
-
Duration: Tenable for the normal candidature period of the undergraduate programme

Academic Requirement: Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.4 out of 4.0

Other Conditions:

Must accept the MOE Tuition Grant
-
Cannot hold other scholarships or loans without university approval
-
Scholarship may be withdrawn if academic progress or conduct is unsatisfactory
-
Recipients are responsible for securing their own employment to fulfill the bond
-
Participation in overseas programmes allowed up to one academic term (not in final year)
-
In case of withdrawal or breach of terms, repayment of damages will be required
