Position Title: Quality Assurance Officer
Job Summary
Rwanda Energy Group Limited (REG Ltd) is recruiting competent, qualified, and experienced staff to fill the position of Quality Assurance Officer.
The role involves setting and implementing internal and external quality requirements, coordinating quality standards and procedures across REG to ensure that company assets, products, and services meet customer expectations. The officer will also develop and maintain work and product quality standards in line with REG’s corporate strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Establish and monitor quality control systems for REG’s products and services.

Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and regulations.

Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and policies.

Conduct internal audits and prepare quality performance reports.

Coordinate with departments to ensure consistent quality.

Provide training and technical guidance on quality improvement.
Educational Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Electrical, Power, or Electronics Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience in Quality Assurance Assessment.
OR -
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power, or Electronics Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance Assessment.
Additional Skills
-
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Good understanding of electricity systems and product design.

Excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
