The Karsh Journalism Fellowship 2026 is the only media fellowship in the world dedicated to improving how Jewish issues are reported in the news. This prestigious program pairs early-career journalists with top mentors and provides immersive training experiences across three major U.S. cities — Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, D.C. — starting in January 2026.
Hosted by JFEDLA and supported by Jacki and Jeff Karsh, the fellowship seeks to elevate journalistic rigor and impact on Jewish-related topics, much like the Knight Science Journalism Fellowship does for science.
What Fellows Receive

$4,000 stipend plus all travel and lodging expenses covered
