Admission & Language Tracks:
LU welcomes local, international, transfer, and visiting students. Applicants can choose programs in:

• English Track: Minimum 65% in secondary school; may require LU English proficiency test

• Arabic Track: Demonstrate Arabic proficiency or take LU placement test/foundation courses

• French Track: French baccalaureate holders or LU French proficiency test

Required Documents:

• High school certificate / secondary credentials

• Official transcripts

• Copy of passport

• Personal photograph

• Transfer students: sealed transcripts, course descriptions, equivalence approval

• Local students: Qatari ID (if applicable)

Tuition & Fees:

• Foundation Year: 2,000 QAR/credit

• Bachelor’s Programs:
  • Commerce, Education, Arts, Law: ~1,500 QAR/credit
  • IT: ~2,500 QAR/credit

• Other fees: application 100 QAR, placement test 150 QAR, student services 2,500 QAR

Discounts & Scholarships:

• 60%: Students with special needs

• 50%: National top performers (sports, arts, sciences), children of LU staff

• 40%: Students with 95%+ in high school or patent holders

• 35–30%: High-achieving students with 90–94%, GPA ≥ 3.5

• 10–30%: Sibling discounts

• Sept 15, 2025: Online applications open

• Oct 30, 2025: Master’s applications deadline

• Dec 3–4, 2025: Placement tests (group 1)

• Dec 11, 2025: Master’s admission decisions announced

• Dec 25, 2025: Deadline for local & transfer students

• Jan 4–5, 2026: Placement tests (group 2)

• Jan 10, 2026: Orientation & semester starts
