Fleet Management Officer at Central University Hospital of Kigali (CHUK) | Deadline: 30 October 2025

Central University Hospital of Kigali (CHUK) is hiring a qualified Fleet Management Officer to support efficient and effective management of hospital transport and vehicle operations.

Key Responsibilities

Arrange finances for vehicle and transportation operations
Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures
Prepare activity plans related to the use of vehicles
Manage, assign, and monitor the use of pool vehicles
Oversee proper use of fuel cards and rations
Maintain fuel and oil storage logs and ensure accurate reporting
Supervise drivers and ensure adherence to disciplinary and operational standards
Authorize repairs and ensure maintenance is done per contract
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain records
Ensure hospital vehicles are insured and undergo technical control
Promote hospital environmental hygiene and quality improvement
Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the supervisor
Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Technology, or related field
OR Advanced Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 0 years (entry-level positions are accepted)
Driving License: Category B is an added advantage
