Job Purpose

Bralirwa Plc is looking for a qualified and dedicated DDE Officer to join its team in Kigali. The DDE Officer is responsible for continuously building the capability of distributors and driving digital adoption as a key enabler of transformation and success.

Context

Bralirwa’s business model is based on an indirect market, where distributors play a crucial role in the Route-to-Consumer strategy. As the market continues to grow and competition increases, distributor proficiency and strong distribution networks are vital to sustaining growth and maintaining leadership.
This position supports Bralirwa’s RTC transformation and customer-centricity strategy, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth for both Bralirwa and its partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Harmonize and optimize processes and operations at distributors within the assigned zone.

2. Build distributor capability on DMS and other digital platforms.

3. Ensure completeness and accuracy of transactions and customer data.

4. Provide Level 1 technical support and manage escalations for DMS and EBM issues.

5. Configure systems, create promotions in DMS, and follow up on related matters.

6. Promote data-driven decision-making using dashboards and performance insights.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management, or related fields.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a commercial, technology, sales, or distribution role.

• Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda; French is an added advantage.

• Good understanding of Rwanda’s tax code, especially VAT.

Other Requirements

• Ability to work in a multicultural, multinational, and multilingual environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Basic knowledge of project management.

• High level of commitment and ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented personality.
