Job Summary
As the Chef, you will lead the kitchen in delivering top-quality, flavorful dishes while maintaining fine-dining standards. You’ll design innovative menus, oversee kitchen operations, ensure hygiene compliance, and mentor the culinary team to uphold excellence in service and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Innovation & Preparation

Develop and execute new dishes inspired by continental and West African cuisines.

Ensure quality, flavor, and visual presentation meet fine-dining standards.

Keep the menu fresh by researching culinary trends and integrating creative concepts.
Kitchen Management
-
Manage and maintain inventory, ensuring freshness and cost-effectiveness of ingredients.

Lead and coordinate daily kitchen operations for efficient service delivery.

Oversee food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times.
Team Leadership

Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques and presentation skills.

Foster teamwork and maintain a positive, productive kitchen environment.

Encourage adherence to service excellence and consistency across all dishes.
Financial & Operational Efficiency

Support cost control, budgeting, and waste reduction initiatives.

Optimize kitchen operations to enhance productivity and minimize losses.
Customer Service

Ensure guests receive exceptional dining experiences through exquisite flavors and professional service.
Qualifications
-
3–5 years of experience preparing international cuisine in a fine-dining environment.

Proven expertise in continental and West African dishes.

Experience managing busy kitchens and service operations.

Knowledge of sustainable and environmentally friendly cooking practices.

Fluency in English and at least one local language.
