Background
In today’s data-driven world, graduates and young professionals are increasingly expected to demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills. However, many lack proficiency in essential tools like Microsoft Excel, SPSS, and digital data collection tools such as KoBo Toolbox—skills that are critical for decision-making, research, and workplace efficiency.
To address this gap, The Result, through its Center for Training and Events and with partner support, is organizing a 10-day intensive capacity-building program on Advanced Excel, SPSS, and KoBo Toolbox. This training aims to enhance employability, research capabilities, and professional competitiveness.
Objectives
Participants will:

Gain hands-on experience in Advanced Excel for real-world applications.

Learn to design and deploy digital questionnaires using KoBo Toolbox.

Acquire practical skills in SPSS for statistical analysis and reporting.

Strengthen academic research and thesis work.

Boost employability by aligning skills with market demands.

Become valuable contributors to organizations that rely on accurate and actionable data.
Expected Outcomes
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

Use Advanced Excel functions and PivotTables efficiently.

Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analysis using SPSS.

Design, deploy, and manage digital surveys using KoBo Toolbox.

Descriptive statistics, cross-tabulations, graphs, and charts

Hypothesis testing, correlation, regression analysis

Report generation and best practices in professional reporting
3. KoBo Toolbox

Digital data collection fundamentals

Form creation and project setup

Question design, logic, validation, and previewing

Deploying forms, real-time monitoring, and data management
