About BRAC and the Position
BRAC Ultra-Poor Graduation Initiative (UPGI) is implementing the National Strategy for Sustainable Graduation out of Poverty, a transformative program aimed at helping vulnerable communities achieve sustainable livelihoods.
To support this mission, BRAC seeks to recruit a qualified and motivated Administrative & Logistics Officer who will ensure smooth program operations through effective logistics, procurement, travel coordination, and administrative management.
This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to Rwanda’s national poverty reduction efforts while strengthening program systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Program Support
-
Support program teams from district level to the National Graduation Secretariat.

Ensure compliance with the National Strategy for Sustainable Graduation.
Procurement & Logistics
-
Assist with procurement activities and vendor identification.
-
Collect price quotations, prepare bid analyses, and issue purchase orders.

Manage logistics for workshops, training, and events.
-
Prepare service level agreements for smooth project operations.
-
Oversee office resources, assets, and related systems.
Risk Management
-
Serve as Risk Coordinator for UPGI.

Maintain and update the risk register for programs and offices.
Administration
-
Manage staff travel arrangements and accommodation.

Organize team meetings, workshops, and filing systems.

Process invoices and expense claims promptly.

Conduct compliance checks and maintain administrative policies.
Human Resources Support

Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining staff files.

Keep HR trackers and databases up to date.

Support training and orientation for new staff members.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Management, Marketing, Development Studies, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (3 years preferred).
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with admin/finance systems.
Ability to manage procurement, logistics, and HR processes.
Experience in dynamic or rapidly growing organizations is an advantage.
Interest or experience in global development.
