1. Senior Manager Catering Services and Inflight Products

Location: Kigali International Airport (KIA)
Department: Commercial
Reports to: Head of Corporate Brand & Products

Job Purpose

The Senior Manager will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of RwandAir’s catering services and inflight products. The role focuses on customer experience, supplier management, innovation, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop long-term catering and inflight services strategy aligned with the brand.
Curate meal plans, beverage selections, inflight products, lounges, and onboard retail.
Lead supplier negotiations, contracts, and performance monitoring.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and aviation catering standards.
Improve operational efficiency in production, logistics, and waste reduction.
Collect customer feedback and benchmark industry trends to enhance services.
Lead, coach, and develop departmental staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Aviation, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 7+ years in airline catering, hospitality, or inflight service management.
Strong experience in inflight product innovation and brand transformation.
Knowledge of food safety and aviation catering regulations.
Strong leadership, analytical, and financial management skills.

Job Purpose

Supports enterprise risk management through identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of risks across departments, ensuring compliance with ISO 31000 and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update the enterprise risk register.
Support risk assessments across financial, operational, and compliance areas.
Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and escalate emerging risks.
Support risk mitigation, contingency planning, and corrective actions.
Maintain risk documentation and dashboards.
Participate in risk reviews, workshops, and internal audits.
Promote a strong risk-aware culture among staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Professional certifications (CRMA, ISO 31000) are an advantage.
Minimum 3 years in risk management, audit, or compliance.

Job Purpose

Provide professional TRAX eMRO system expertise for data clean-up, setup, and integration, ensuring the system becomes the backbone of aircraft maintenance and engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop plans for TRAX setup, data clean-up, and system configuration.
Coordinate with TRAX Miami, IT, and Technical teams.
Set up modules for CAMO, Part 145, and Supply Chain.
Activate TRAX eMobility Suite for paperless maintenance.
Develop customized TRAX reports and dashboards.
Train staff and provide day-to-day TRAX technical support.
Document and streamline TRAX-related procedures.
Ensure safety, quality, and compliance within Technical Operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Aircraft Maintenance, Engineering, IT, or related field.
Minimum 5 years working in a TRAX environment.
Strong knowledge of TRAX modules and eMobility Suite.
Strong leadership, teamwork, and pressure-handling skills.
