This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to RSSB’s technology operations, ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable systems that support the organization’s mission of transforming social protection services in Rwanda.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to staff, addressing hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications across the organization.

Troubleshoot and resolve system, connectivity, and performance problems efficiently.
-
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control within IT systems.
-
Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, printers, and network devices.
-
Assist in system upgrades, backups, and updates to ensure data integrity and security.
-
Monitor and document support requests through a ticketing system.
-
Provide user training and guidance on IT tools and best practices.
-
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure business continuity and cybersecurity compliance.
Required Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role.

Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.

Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and business productivity applications.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Competencies
Technical Competencies:

Proficient in troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.

Knowledge of remote support technologies and tools.

Understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls).

Experience with ticketing systems and issue-tracking tools.

Basic scripting or programming skills (PowerShell, Bash).

Strong customer service orientation and ability to remain composed under pressure.

Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
