Job Title:

Sales & Ticketing Agent

Reports to: Ticketing Supervisor
Department: Commercial
Duty Station: Bujumbura, Burundi

Job Purpose

The Sales & Ticketing Agent is responsible for providing excellent service to customers in terms of ticketing, reservations, and RwandAir products to generate sales and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Make reservations and issue tickets for all RwandAir clients to generate sales.
Provide accurate fare quotes to all clients to offer the best applicable fares.
Recruit and manage existing and prospective frequent fliers to win and retain loyalty.
Print and reconcile daily sales returns.
Promote RwandAir products and services to create awareness and generate sales revenue.
Promote direct telephone sales to reduce distribution costs.

Desired Profile – Education, Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a travel agency.
Fluency in English (spoken & written).
Knowledge of French is an added advantage.
Strong customer focus and communication skills.
Pleasant, approachable personality.
Advanced computer skills.
