Position Overview
The Learning and Development Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that build employee skills, enhance engagement, and support COPEDU PLC’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage employee learning and development programs.

Conduct training needs assessments and identify skill gaps across departments.

Develop and coordinate internal and external training programs.

Deliver onboarding programs and induction training for new employees.

Prepare training materials, monitor budgets, and report on participation and outcomes.

Facilitate training sessions on leadership, compliance, customer service, and technical skills.

Support managers with individual development plans and succession planning.
-
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
-
Maintain accurate employee training records and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Stay updated on emerging learning technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Education, Project Management, or a related field.

At least 2 years of progressive experience in training program development or coaching (experience in banking is an advantage).

Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
-
Ability to engage effectively with trainers and participants.
-
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound decision-making ability.

High integrity and strong ethical standards.
