Its flagship project, the Kigali Golf Resort & Villas, designed by the world-renowned Gary Player, is a premium real estate and leisure development featuring a five-star Clubhouse and other luxury amenities.


Position Summary

The Income Auditor will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of all revenue transactions across RUGC’s facilities — including golf operations, pro shop, food & beverage outlets, membership services, and events.
This role involves reviewing, reconciling, and reporting daily income while maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and uphold financial compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and reconcile daily revenue reports from all departments (Golf, F&B, Pro Shop, Events, etc.).

  • Ensure that all transactions are properly recorded, authorized, and backed by adequate documentation.

  • Review cashier summaries, POS system reports, and credit card transactions, reconciling them with bank deposits.

  • Monitor discounts, complimentary items, voids, and promotions to ensure proper approvals and justifications.

  • Maintain effective internal controls over cash handling and revenue recording.

  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.

  • Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and report irregularities to the Chief Accountant.

  • Prepare and submit accurate daily income audit reports to management.

  • Reconcile accounts receivable and other revenue-related accounts.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing by providing reconciled income data.

  • Maintain organized audit records and supporting documentation.

  • Work closely with departmental heads to resolve revenue discrepancies.

  • Provide guidance to operational teams on revenue recording and compliance procedures.

  • Support internal and external audit processes with required documentation.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in income auditing, revenue accounting, or financial control, preferably in the hospitality or leisure industry.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and revenue recognition.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and POS systems.

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical ability.

  • Strong integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling financial data.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
