As a Back End Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power RSSB’s digital services. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about technology, innovation, and impact-driven digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.

Collaborate with front-end developers and system architects to integrate user-facing elements.
-
Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.

Implement and maintain database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions.

Ensure application security, data integrity, and efficient performance.
-
Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality software standards.

Work with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain systems in production environments.

Document system architecture, APIs, and technical processes.
-
Stay current with emerging technologies and development best practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience as a Back End Developer/Engineer or in a similar software development role.
-
Strong proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or .NET.
-
Experience with database management systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server).

Familiarity with API design (REST, GraphQL) and version control tools like Git.
-
Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Ability to develop secure, efficient, and maintainable back-end systems.

Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.
